{"id":149,"date":"2008-12-18T23:38:37","date_gmt":"2008-12-18T23:38:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.little.org\/blog\/2008\/12\/18\/WashingtonsBeenBuried.aspx"},"modified":"2008-12-18T23:38:37","modified_gmt":"2008-12-18T23:38:37","slug":"washingtons-been-buried","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.little.org\/blog\/2008\/12\/18\/washingtons-been-buried\/","title":{"rendered":"Washington&#8217;s been buried!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><P><A href=\"http:\/\/pictures.little.org\/gallery\/6864329_xkg5N#439074291_sypSk\"><IMG style=\"MARGIN: 0px 5px 5px 0px\" src=\"http:\/\/thelittles.smugmug.com\/photos\/439074291_sypSk-S.jpg\" align=left><\/A> There was a snowstorm predicted for Wednesday&#8230; but it waited until Thursday instead. <\/P><br \/>\n<P>I went into work in the morning for a bit to get some work done, the remote connection servers are swamped by everyone trying to WAH (work at home).&nbsp; To make sure I didn&#8217;t get trapped at the office I left at lunch time.&nbsp; All the stranded cars and the continued snow assured me I made the right decision.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>Other than peaceful white coating, the weather has another fun benefit: wildlife. Our bird feeder has a constant crowd of patrons and our hummingbird feeders are helping the littlest customers stay warm (yeah, who knew that hummingbirds stayed here year round?). The cold also brought us a brand new visitor: a pair of coyotes. They must have come up from the park at the end of our street looking for food.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>I was able to get some quick pictures of the hummingbirds, quail and coyote, they&#8217;re in <A href=\"http:\/\/pictures.little.org\/gallery\/6864329_xkg5N\">our big snow gallery<\/A>.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>With the fierce competition for connectivity to Microsoft I won&#8217;t get much work done&#8230; but that does free me up to watch the show. <\/P><br \/>\n<P><BR clear=all><\/P><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There was a snowstorm predicted for Wednesday&#8230; but it waited until Thursday instead.
